The BBC Big Screen in Bradford City Centre will soon be hosting interactive games.
The screens were originally designed for news, live coverage of BBC sport and music events. They are also a popular way to show highlights of BBC programmes plus an ever-changing selection of local and national digital work. Recently, they have been showing full programmes of locally run community, sporting and cultural events.
Games and animation projects have been shown on other Big Screens across the country, and there is a variety of original digital media on display.
Students at the University of Bradford are developing interactive games that can be played by using audio and motion sensor technology.
The Bradford interactive games are sure to be popular in the city centre area, which receives a lot of footfall by young people. The project is being done in association with Bradford City of Film.
